The Minotaur was a half-man and half-bull monster that devoured victims thrown into the Labyrinth of Knossos. Born of Queen Pasiphae's god-inflicted infatuation with a bull, the Minotaur was eventually killed by Theseus. The monster is generally depicted as having the head of a bull and the body of a man. The Minotaur is also seen as a symbol of two opposites coming together to create one.
This unique Minotaur necklace is made of solid hypoallergenic 316l stainless steel.
The three-dimensional Minotaur is highly detailed then given a high polish finish and antiquing to highlight the details.
This pendant (without bail) approximately measures 53mm long from the horn tip to the bottom of the beard x 45mm wide at the horns x 15mm thick at the eyes. The bail can accommodate a chain or cord necklace up to 4.5mm wide.
