Physical Vapor Deposition, or PVD, is a vacuum coating process that produces a decorative and durable finish. PVD utilizes a titanium nitride that provides a hard coating that is durable and designed to last. PVD coatings are more resistant to corrosion and regular wear than gold plated designs.
